We are pleased about your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.
Access Data and Hosting
You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server merely automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access.
These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site as well as improving our offer. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are overriding in the context of balancing interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. All access data are deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.
Hosting services by a third-party provider
As part of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides services for hosting and displaying the website. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop, as described below, are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the framework explained here.
This service provider is located in a country outside the European Union for which the European Commission has established by decision an adequate level of data protection.
Data collection and use for contract processing, contacting, and opening a customer account
We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we need the data in these cases to process the contract or your contact request, and you cannot complete the order or send the contact request without providing it. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and handling your inquiries.
If you have given your consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR by deciding to open a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account.
After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a designated function in the customer account.
Data transfer
For the fulfilment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the order process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, provided you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider during the order process with your access data. In this respect, the data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies.
To process orders and contracts, we also use an external merchandise management system. The data transfer or processing that takes place in this context is based on order processing.
We use payment service providers and shipping service providers based in a country outside the European Union. The transfer of personal data to these companies takes place only within the framework of the necessity to fulfil the contract.
The same applies to the transfer of data to our manufacturers or wholesalers in cases where they take over the shipment for us (drop shipping).
Data transfer to shipping service providers
If you have given us your express consent to this during or after your order, we will forward your email address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR so that they can contact you before delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination.
The consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or directly to the shipping service provider at the contact address listed below. After revocation, we will delete your data provided for this purpose unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
Email newsletter
Email advertising with subscription to the newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you to send you our email newsletter regularly based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we delete your email address from the distribution list unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
The newsletter is sent as part of processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your email address for this purpose.
This service provider is located in a country outside the European Union for which the European Commission has established by decision an adequate level of data protection.
